DAY 3…Boldness vs. Fear

Operational Definition: Boldness is welcoming any suffering that comes from doing what is right, because it will produce a greater power of love. Boldness is the fearless and daring courage to carry out the work God calls us to do.

We should have Boldness:
1) In the face of Death (Heb. 2:14-15; 13:6)
2) To Speak the Truth (Eph. 6:19-20; Acts 4:29-31)
3) To Accomplish Great Things (2 Chronicles 16:9; Daniel 11:32; John 15:7-8)

Memory Verse: Acts 4:31 "And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with Boldness."

Some Profound statements regarding Boldness: We fear men so much, because we fear God so little. One fear cures another. When man’s terror scares you, turn your thoughts to the wrath of God. There is nothing more dangerous on this planet than people that are not afraid of dying.
