"Here at Calvary Chapel we are firmly convinced both by scriptural principle and practical experience that where God guides God provides. One of the ways God provides is by moving upon the hearts of His people to stand behind His work. If God is stirring your heart to stand behind this work we want you to know that there are a number of ways that you can support this ministry, any and all of which are deeply appreciated. #1 Prayer Of the highest priority is prayer. Romans 12:10-12, 1 Thess 5:17. If God is leading you to stand in the gap on our behalf through prayer we are most thankful. Here are some things you can begin to pray over immediately: Pray for the leadership here at Calvary Chapel; that we might be found serving willingly and eagerly as examples to the flock. Pray for the spiritual health and well being of the body of Christ here (1 Cor 1:10). That we be of one heart and one mind, knit together in the love of Christ for the glory of Christ. Pray that we would make an eternal impact in our "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the end of the earth" to the praise of His name. Pray for effective outreach and ministry of our full power 32,000 watt radio station, K.I.T.G., that God has opened the door for. #2 Spread the word Let people know that we're here. Jesus commissioned us to to unto all the earth and make disciples of all nations. One of those nations is our very own! Our neighbors, work associates or classmates may need to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ; if they do know Him they could certainly stand to be encouraged and edified by Him. If they don't have a church home encourage them to "check us out" if they're in the neighborhood.
