The Nursery - About Julie
My husband and I moved to Carthage, Missouri with our 5 children in the fall of 1997. After nearly a year of searching, we found our church home, Calvary Chapel of Joplin where the solid Word of God continues to flow from the pulpit.
It is my love and passion for the Word of God that
motivates me to ensure the children are taught the
Word even at a very young age. We, as adults, are
able to pick up and read a portion of bible at will.
These young lives don't have that benefit. I think it's
important to equip the kids even at this very young
age, it is our responsibility to ground them and give
them a solid foundation.
Our nursery is divided into two sections. The newborn
to 15 months room is the very southwest room in the
lower level of the church. The 15 months to 3 years old
classroom is the very southeast room on the lower level...
Our toddler room is equipped to assist with potty training.
We are here to serve the babies, to nurture love and care for them while their parents/caregivers are being equipped in the sactuary through the study of God's word.
