I received Jesus as my savior at the age of thirteen. My father first made his decision. By the end of the year each one in our family had decided to follow Christ.

Col. 1:10-11 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

Walk Solid… Is Calvary Chapel Children’s Ministry; encompassing the Groundbreakers, the Foundation and the Loft. A ministry that is weighed, measured and balanced that children may know where to plant their feet, before they take a stand; enabling them to walk solid according to the Word of God.

Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree;
Planted by the rivers of water;
That brings forth its fruit in its season;
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper;

Our lives- our “walk”- without words, should magnify Christ. Our words should be an outward expression of our hearts. The great commission for our lives is to share the Gospel, that is, to magnify Jesus in the eyes of others…so that, truly, Jesus is ALL they can see.

We try to engage the children at many points such as: Praise & Worship, Prayer, Interactive Bible Study, Wholesome conversation, Activities and personal involvement in the children’s lives.

Children’s Ministry is available during all service times.
Sunday Morning: 9:00am and 10:45am
Wednesday Night 7:00pm

What God is looking for: Ezekiel 22:30 tells us that God is seeking people to “make a wall” and “stand in the gap”. God is looking for workers. There are places of ministry to fill and the angels can’t take our place. In John 4:23, Jesus states that the Father is seeking “true worshippers”; and in Luke 13:7, He informs us that the Father is also seeking fruit. These two go together, for those who commune with God bear fruit for His glory: “Without me you can do nothing” (John 15:5) Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost. God is seeking worshippers and workers and fruit-bearers because God is seeking the lost. Children are not only in need of Jesus but also a need to be discipled in following Jesus.
